Whyte should have been given extra time to cover from illegal push
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Quina74, Apr 25, 2022 at 7:03 AM. Quina74 said: ↑ Whyte looked like he may have been going down anyway but how Fury wasn't penalised for that is pretty ridiculous. The act of pushing someone to the floor faster may have resulted in Whytes head landing on the canvas with more impact hence being unable to recover quickly. Really Whyte should have been given 5 minutes..
If you had to pick one of the four major organizations to rule boxing
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by boxingforum24, Mar 18, 2022 at 5:18 PM. Who and why? Do you think having one organization with majority rule would improve boxing? Would we get better fights more often? Yes I know this topic has been done to death. So let's breathe some more life into it. I’m picking the WBO because I like their super status which allows more easily for multi division champions.

Will heavyweight boxing ever regain its popularity in the USA
Perhaps heavyweight boxing lost its popularity in the USA when the heavyweight title holders started to increasingly be from other countries. Likewise perhaps it is just a sign of the times, in 1960s/70s more folk in a UK street would likely have been able to identify the domestic British Champion compared to folk of today trying to identify Fury.
Will we ever see an AJ vs Wilder fight
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Ali Holmes, Jan 1, 2022 at 11:35 AM. Or is it a pipe dream at this point? It will be a real shame for boxing if that fight never happens. It will always be one of those "what ifs" like Foreman and Quarry.

Anthony Joshua never wanted Tyson Fury
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Eta Carinae, Dec 28, 2021 at 3:00 AM. deep down he never wanted it. The negotiations were all a ploy to wait till the court ruling was concluded. Hearn is a snake and was aware that the fight would never come off. Fury is a bigger stronger U S Y K and AJ couldn't even handle the miniature version. He knows he's inferior to Fury and would get humiliated.

Bivol’s lack of power…
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Toney F*** U, Dec 26, 2021 at 10:10 AM. He’s seriously lacking the size and power to become the best LHW. What makes this even worse is that he doesn’t even seem to try to punch hard or keep guys off of him. I respect his talent, skill set, and ring iq, but there’s gonna be a time where an opponent isn’t gonna be kept at bay from his taps.

All you ol' timers, who were boxers with physical infirmities?
During their bout? Meaning what did they have to contest with besides the pain of the other boxers punches? What comes to mind is Mosley in the Pacquiao fight, had a HUGE blister on his foot due to all the backpeddling. Also pacman in the Marquez one fight, like he was wearing bad socks or something hurting his feet! Then another crucial one was Joe Messi vs Vasily jirov. Jirov hit him with a clubbing rabbit punch that caused a massive brain bleed.
Tyson Fury explains what it takes to be the best
"Don’t act like a professional and live in the gym for days a week because that doesn’t achieve anything. If you turn up on time, try your hardest and do your best, the sad truth is 99 per cent of the time you still won’t make it If you are in the gym and still going out two or three times a week then you might make it. Championship boxing is a mindset, it is not about who trains the hardest or who lifts the heaviest weights, you have to enjoy yourself.
Tyson Fury in drugs?
Twitchy and not saying what we want to hear. I've said it before and will say it again I'm not convinced Fury wants the fight with Usyk. At this point looking at his interviews in recent times it appears that a big pay day with Joshua is what he wants. Whyte and Usyk are secondary. I hope he fights Whyte to stay busy and the takes on the winner of Usyk v AJ. If AJ wins I think Tyson is pretty confident he can beat him.
Jack Dempsey vs Tyson Fury
A lean and hungry 187 pounds, 6'1 with 73 inch reach of Dempsey vs a 270+ pound, 6'9 and 85 inch reach of Fury. Unless Fury hangs his jaw out there, then Dempsey has in my opinion no chance to beat Fury. Fury is not just a big ol unit, he knows how to use his physical size, he has speed, skill and an ability to reboot his braincell rapidly, if he is tagged by an opponents punch.

Joshua and Whyte should step aside.
Why should AJ step aside he has a rematch against Usyk all signed up and legal. Whyte is the mandatory, if Whyte is such a pointless match up surely Fury could dispose of him in double quick time, so no reason for Whyte to step aside. If Fury is the fighting man he claims to be then get back fighting no long lay offs, it seems 'We' as you say want to see him in with Usyk, so Mr Fury make it happen, keep your fans happy get the mandatory out of the way pronto and you will be ready to go.
Will Fury surpass Wilder's number of defences?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Bart Allen, Oct 24, 2021 at 3:12 PM. Realistically? As Wilder successfully defended his WBC title 10 times in 4 years ~ In the modern era, the list is as follows: Wladimir Klitschko 25 Vitali Klitschko 15 Deontay Wilder 10 Anthony Joshua 9 Fury is 33 years of age, presently, so where do you see him landing on this list? Conor Benn, what do we think?
Sir Edward of Hearn, saviour of boxing, number one customer of Gillette shaving products, Bob Arum superfan, Sky Sports sworn enemy, DAZN brown noser, and the epitome of narcissism, has been talking up Conor Benn, son of the Dark Destroyer. He thinks Conor will be a world champion in the not too distant future. So, do we think that is nonsense - given the talent in his division?
Will Wilder be able to get over the demons over the 2nd fight beatdown?
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by UFC2020, May 29, 2021 at 2:10 AM. It's one thing to be training hard and working hard on the mitts, bag but they don't hit back. He is just coming off his career worst beat down and usually a lot of fighters after nights like that are just never the same again. How will he react when Fury stings him with the first hard punch and jab? Will any punch ressistance he had ever be the same again?

I'll still watch it though. Rilz Ball don't lie! I would, but that is because I am a degenerate. Also, Wilder is always in entertaining fights so you would get your value. I didn't think I could dislike the guy any more prior to today, and then bam, I hate him more.
