can anybody recommend a nice hearing protector that won't hit the stock when shooting trap?
I cannot find a compact hearing muff that will not hit the stock comb when shouldering my shotgun. It always seems that i need to have a soft cheek weld to accomidate the hearing protector. I cannot believe that ear plugs is the only type to function correctly.

? On .410 wads
My oldest son shoots .410 quite a bit and reloads most of the time. I was with him yesterday and we were loading shells and ran out of the red claybuster, cb5050-410hs wads. He has a partial bag of the cb1050-41 wads. He is loading AA HS hulls. We are wondering if they are interchangeable? I really thought that they weren’t, but I haven’t loaded for .410. Thanks in advance for your insight. I did do a search here on the site and read several pages of Q and A and did not find an answer.
