Why did you become a journalist?
I like to tell people about things that interest me, that I'm enthusiastic about. There's a journalist in all of us, everyone has a story.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
In this modern age of instant responses and social media, do not be put off by negative comments and abuse, it's sadly now par of the course.

Anytime really, but at lunchtime goes down well!
