I wouldn't say a job, but a side hustle. It was writing for my college's student newspaper, as a staff writer.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
To tell the truth of a particular person, event, etc.

Why did you become a journalist?
I found my passion for pop culture/entertainment at a young age. And my passion for writing was found in my freshman year of high school.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, but I took a Journalism class in my Senior year of high school.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Interviewing an Academy Award/Oscars voting member. This was a dream come true, as covering award shows was something I was interested in.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Always be open-minded, and never give up on the story your working on.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Afternoon and nights.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch I ever got was when I got to interview an Academy Award/Oscars voting member about the award show and the nominees.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
A story about a basketball tournament. Sports is not my thing.

Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte from Starbucks.
