Abstract Background: Correctional workers (CWs), are frequently exposed to traumatic workplace events, placing them at higher risk of experiencing mental health disorders, including major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
