Kelly McHugh’s Biography

I am a senior at Kansas State University graduating in May 2013 in journalism and mass communications with a focus in print. I currently work as a sportswriter for The Manhattan Mercury, the daily local newspaper of Manhattan, Kan. I also write features for Kansas City's MLS team, Sporting Kansas City and contribute to the team's website and blog.

I was the sports editor for the Kansas State Collegian, Kansas' 7th largest newspaper, during the spring of 2012.

I hope to continue my career in sports journalism after I graduate from Kansas State.
