What's the most common misperception about your beat?
I think the most common misperception is that entertainment or viral content is “easy” to create — that it’s just about trends or gossip. In reality, it takes careful research, fact-checking, and timing to make sure stories are both accurate and engaging. Good entertainment writing still carries the same responsibility to inform as any other form of journalism.
