What was your first job as a journalist?
My first professional job was covering the public school system governor's office and legislature on the island of Saipan.

No, I worked for my high school yearbook. I worked all the way up to editor in chief my senior year.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm most proud of a story about two brothers convicted of killing and sentenced to die in two different states decades apart.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Read A LOT. Be persistent and work hard.
