The Man of Steel often seems untouchable. He’s bulletproof, super-strong, super-durable, and essentially invulnerable. He’s so incredibly overpowered that comic writers have struggled to provide him with enemies capable of posing any kind of challenge to the Kryptonian hero. Thankfully, he does have one weakness: Kryptonite. Long used in comics to weaken Superman and give his enemies a chance, it’s a great way of making him a little more human and creating epic superhero battles.
