Introduction Under the leadership of one of the authors (MS), a global hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) case review board was initiated. Through this process and the use of technology, the group of 9 surgeons from 6 different countries on 4 continents, meet on a quarterly basis to present and discuss HPB cases from around the globe. Through this process, surgeons were able to obtain advice and learn from each other.
