I've always liked watches, but it was only about half a year ago that I ordered my first watch box (24 slots!) I gathered my old watches and have since bought a number of new affordable watches. I am now awaiting my second watch box... My heart beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour in anticipation. What advice do you have for this naive watch enthusiast who is newly afflicted with this bug, as he descends into the depths of this horological disease?

Interesting thread topic. I tend to like the 2nd or 3rd ring style watches, so no Sub no-date or Speedy Pros for me, but a white Milgauss or two-tone SMP 300 is up my alley. But I would not buy an ugly watch just because it was a deal; I'm talking to you, Corum. I actually have the Piaget Upstream and highly recommend it. There is one for sale from Govberg right now and I am tempted to buy it as a second, except I had to shell out $800 for a full Piaget service on the one I got in October.

Finally wearing the wedding watch
As opposed to a ring I decided I wanted a wedding watch instead, so purchased this months and months ago . Yesterday was the big day and I'm now enjoying it with a glass of wine on new years eve here in New Zealand.
