Kwin Mosby’s Biography
After his time as a Senior Travel Editor at National Geographic, Kwin Mosby decided to return to his roots as a digital content strategist and freelance lifestyle & travel journalist. Based in Washington, DC, his work has appeared in reputable digital and print publications such as Travel + Leisure, AFAR, Condé Nast Traveler, TripAdvisor, Marriott Bonvoy Traveler, Departures, Newsweek, Passport Magazine, and others.
With more than 20 years of editorial experience, he has worked as the Editor-in-Chief for Vacationer Magazine, a TV news producer for BBC News, a managing digital producer for Travel Channel, and a content manager for Travel Leaders Group.
Kwin’s work has been featured in digital and print publications such as Travel + Leisure, AFAR, Tripadvisor, Condé Nast Traveler, Newsweek, Marriott Bonvoy Traveler, Vacationer Magazine, and Passport Magazine. His writing usually focuses on but is not limited to, luxury travel, immersive cultural experiences, and adventure.
Visiting an island resort in the Maldives, going on gorilla trekking at Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, joining hundreds of others for Bear Week in Sitges, Spain, hang gliding off Pedra Bonita in Rio de Janeiro, and taking a Black Walking Tour through Paris are a few of Kwin’s favorite adventures.
After living in Washington, DC for 20 years, Kwin has temporarily returned to his hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia to determine where his next exciting adventure will take him next! Until then, he continues to visit DC to catch up with close friends and business contacts, and of course, travel to exciting destinations via the two regional airports – Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Dulles International Airport (IAD).
