Guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT) reduces mortality in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. However, GDMT is not uncommonly de-escalated following implanted cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantation. We describe our experience with the Device Medical Optimization Clinic (DMOC) at Hamilton Health Sciences, which was established to facilitate medical therapy optimization in cardiac device patients.

The susceptibility of clinical strains to ibrexafungerp was determined by microdilution and time-kill assays. The MIC range against wild-type strains was 1 to 2 μg/ml.
