We had no High School newspaper at the High School of Performing Arts, but I was a reporter at my JHS paper, the Beard Bugle.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote the story of a local chef's recovery after being burned more than 70 percent of his body.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time is the right time to pitch me an exclusive.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch was when an attorney called with the news that he filed a lawsuit against a restaurant because they had a secret s$x room.
What's your favorite drink?
A good craft IPA -- or a Diet Coke.
