Abstract Phosphorus (P) pollution remains a major challenge for freshwater quality across Canada, yet comprehensive, high-resolution data on its sources and sinks have been limited. The gTREND-P-Canada addresses this gap by providing the first gridded and harmonized phosphorus mass budget dataset at the county-scale, as well at a 250-meter resolution for the entire country, covering the period from 1961 to 2021.
