I have experience working for every sports wire service that has ever existed in the past 20-plus year (SportsTicker, AP, The Sports Xchange, Field Level Media/Reuters). I have written about the following sports at some point: MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL, College football, College basketball, Boxing and Tennis. Additionally I served as an editor for two of the previously mentioned wire services. Other experience includes a five-year stint at Metro New York newspaper (2009-2014) covering the Yankees and other sports. Other experience includes fact checking manuscripts for a prominent book publisher.
