I'm a Chartered PR practitioner. I help brands tell their stories through creating strategies which engage audiences.
I believe that PR has the power to make change and to transform businesses.
People buy people. Honesty, trust and transparency and core to excellent relationships.
I'm one of only 50 (identified) UK female PR bloggers, the only one in Scotland. That's an unfair representation of how many females work in PR considering it's female dominated industry!
Ambitious, imaginative and straight talking. I'm all about relationship building. Sharing and collaborating have proven opportunities exist - so long as you come up with ideas.I have recently blogged about using Design Thinking in PR and why PR has the opportunity to embrace entrepreneurial thinking. Check out my posts via www.aura-pr.com 'Aura Talk'.
Quite often uncommon, I'm a thinker and someone who also gets stuff done. I'm proactive and reactive and my passion drives me. I'm not a jack of all trades, but my skills and knowledge are vast, mainly because I'm always learning. Nothing stands still.
I don't do things by halves. If it's worth doing a job, it's worth doing it well!
Check out my exciting project - Scotland's first PR festival www.prfest.co.uk
I've been shortlisted for the CIPR Excellence Award 'Outstanding Independent Practitioner' - fingers crossed for 8 June!
