Yes

How is social media changing news?

I don't use social media for news anymore. I typically get my news from Google News and Washington Post.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To bring light to issues/destinations/organizations that are often overlooked.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Email is best. As long as the pitch is related to any of the topics I cover, I will respond as soon as possible.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Google drive

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I worked for the Law Journal.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Don't give up. Keep pitching, even when you don't think you will hear back. You just never know. Always aim high.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Anytime Monday to Friday.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

Probably something related to children. I am childfree by choice.
