Léa Bertrand’s Biography

I'm Léa Bertrand, known as one of the most cheerful and positive journalists at Archzine. Born in Paris, I relish the city's dynamic and colorful life. A graduate of Lycée Saint Louis, I continued my studies at the University of Montpellier, earning a degree in journalism. But my thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there; I also attained a master's in history from the University of Strasbourg, thereby enriching my journalistic perspective.

From the onset of my career, my passion for writing and literature set me apart. In 2017, I joined ELLE Décor, specializing in the arrangement of small spaces. Thanks to my creativity and futuristic thinking, I can impart a unique and innovative touch to every project.

In 2011, I worked part-time as a radio journalist for Radio France Internationale. Also part-time, I served as a journalist at 20 Minutes France, presenting economic and social news. At FRANCE 24, I cover cultural and sports news.

One of my most noteworthy achievements is undoubtedly the François Chalais Award for young reporters.

I have been writing articles for Archzine since 2018. Initially, I started as a journalist in the DIY section, but in recent years, I've been more active in the "Plants and Garden" section. Most tomato plants owe their life to me. I'm a reader favorite. We often receive thank-you letters from our readers as my articles have helped many save their gardens. I am also an absolute pro at caring for oleanders.

Whether it's enriching lives through literature, innovating small spaces, or rescuing gardens, I find joy in contributing positively to the world around me, and I’m deeply thankful for the recognition and love I receive from readers.
