Pastarasis Jungtinės Karalystės siekis panaikinti skyrybų su Europa susitarimą ir visiškai ignoruoti regioninės autonomijos idėją atnaujina kai kurių nerimstančių Didžiosios Britanijos tautų poreikį siekti nepriklausomybės.
