Chinese guitarist Xuefei Yang combines an astonishing technique with a rare musical instinct. One Day in November, recorded exclusively for Apple Music at Platoon Studio in London, features a selection of enchanting works that bring out every aspect of her artistry. Arrangements of Satie and Debussy piano works focus in on Yang’s delicate finger-work, while the sunny Granados “Zapateado” shines a light on her rhythmic panache.
