how to begin my real estate portfolio
I'm looking into investing in some rental properties, no more then 4 units or a single family home. I am prior Air Force currently using my VA loan for my current home. I am 2 and a half years into a 5 year electrical apprenticeship program. I work full time and my fiancé is a full-time student set to graduate in June, we have two kids and time isn't really something we have a lot of to spare. I have some equity on my house and a partner with capital to invest with me.

Lencho
By LEO RÍOS Good vibes started at Movida, my favorite paisa club in Bakersfield, because it was real. Other clubs were only restaurants during the day or warehouses on the fairgrounds. Movida was a big-time deal, built especially for visiting artists who came from everywhere—L.A., Mexico, sometimes Central or South America. It was the dance spot you took your girl to, if you wanted to be among the best dressed, the most beautiful.
Alex’s Treatment
Having left the house only a few minutes prior, Alex knows they are on Kimberlina, the two-lane road that leads east toward the freeway. On either side of the road are fields of roses, hiding in the darkness of predawn. He can’t smell them, can only smell wet dirt, but he knows they’re there. That makes him feel better. The roses are familiar to him since forever. How it is with things unfamiliar, going to Los Angeles makes him nervous.
Rumpus Original Fiction: The Night Of In Tangas
Rumpus Original Fiction: The Night of in Tangas The night my father met my mother, the plaza was drunk with the smell of corundas. Corundas are particular to the state of Michoacán. Wrapped with fresh green corn leaves, their circular shape is about the size of a small fist, depending on who makes them. Their white corn dough bodies are usually filled with a red tomato salsa (or some other salsa, could be anything).
