Have you ever used a typewriter?

I remember my Mum typing out her CV on one when I was a kid, and getting in trouble for jamming the keys.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Raoul Duke

What does it mean to be a journalist?

No idea.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Email is best, I try to reply to every pitch, but sometimes it can take a week or two as we like to look at ideas as a team.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Grammarly is a godsend for finding typos.

What's your favorite drink?

Negroni.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

If its wet or cold then I'll be out biking down a mountain, or if I'm lucky skiing down one. In the summer, I'll be in a field dancing!

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

Got to say Vice, I know they get a bad press, but they pushed the boundary between journalism and the internet for the better.
