Prevalence and risk factors of small airway dysfunction among rural residents in Western China: a real-world cross-sectional study
Abstract Small airway dysfunction (SAD) is an early precursor to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma but underdiagnosed, especially in rural settings. We aimed to estimate SAD prevalence and identify its risk factors among adults ≥ 40 years in rural western China. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 11,398 rural residents aged ≥ 40 years in Mianyang, Sichuan, China.
Analysis of factors influencing dengue prevention KAP among urban residents in Guangzhou and evaluation of mHealth intervention effects
1 Introduction Dengue fever, a mosquito-borne viral illness, is increasingly recognized as a significant global health issue (1). It is estimated by the World Health Organization (WHO) that 390 million infections of dengue are experienced annually, and many of these infections progress to clinical manifestations (2). Dengue exists in over 100 countries, predominantly in the tropical and subtropical regions of the globe (3), where the Aedes aegypti mosquito serves as the vector (4).

Mechanical Properties Variation in Wood-Plastic Composites with a Mixed Wood Fiber Size
3.2. Mechanical Properties of WPCs The flexural, tensile, and impact properties of composites are listed in Table 2. The results showed that composites with single-size fibers had varying properties depending on the fiber size. The 80–120 mesh fibers presented the lowest flexural and tensile properties. Fibers that were too short (0.125–0.180 mm) had similar properties to powder and did not improve the flexural and tensile properties of WPCs due to their unfavorable aspect ratio.
Melamine-Urea-Formaldehyde Resin Adhesive Modified with Recycling Lignin: Preparation, Structures and Properties
1. Introduction With the increasing market demand for high-quality, multi-function and diversified wood products, wood–based panel products are developing from single products toward diversified and high–performance products continuously. Moreover, wood–based panel products are being updated and reformed continuously, as timber resources shift from natural forest resources to man–made forest and agricultural waste products [1,2,3,4,5,6].
Engineering CuO-HfO2 interface toward enhanced CO2 electroreduction to C2H4
Engineering CuO-HfO2 interface toward enhanced CO2 electroreduction to C2H4 Xin Li, Lifen Li, LiJun Wang, Qineng Xia, Leiduan Hao, XinYu Zhan, Alex Robertson and Zhenyu Sun Abstract We report significantly enhanced electrochemical CO2 reduction (ECR) to C2H4 by tuning the interface of a metal oxide composite (CuOx/HfO2), enabling a C2H4 faradaic efficiency as high as 62.6 + 1.3% at 300 mA cm–2, in contrast to only 11.6 + 1.6% over pure CuO.
