Lily Crane’s Biography
I am a fourth-year student at the University of Oregon majoring in journalism and minoring in Spanish. My journalism specialty is in sports, where I have experience in both writing and broadcasting.
I currently am the writing coordinator for KWVA Radio where I also commentate sports events, including soccer and basketball. I also cover soccer, basketball, football and volleyball as a sports writer for The Daily Emerald.
My goal is to have a career as a play-by-play sports commentator for either radio or television. I am currently open to any kind of work in sports media. I am particularly interested in covering female athletes and increasing the coverage of women’s sports.
