Why did you become a journalist?

I saw stories everywhere. I wrote my first one when I was five years old, in Russian, my native language. I'm still writing--in English.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

When's the best time to pitch you?

Any time is best time.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

In my garden, on a horse, in a kayak, in the woods.
