Linda Amiani is an Aspiring Diplomat and accomplished Multimedia Journalist who formerly served as Editorial Assistant at Tuko.co.ke, Kenya’s most influential digital media platform. With over six years of progressive experience in content strategy, editorial operations, and digital journalism, Linda has played an instrumental role in shaping high-impact narratives that inform public discourse and engage a broad national audience.

Her career spans key editorial roles, including but not limited to Managing Editor at The Kenya Times, where she led newsroom operations, oversaw editorial direction, and shaped compelling content across politics, governance, and human interest.

Prior to joining Tuko, Linda was a Sub-Editor at Kahawa Tungu, where she played a pivotal role in delivering high-traffic news and feature stories. Her mandate also spanned social media strategy, SEO optimization, and digital engagement, driving measurable audience growth across platforms. Earlier in her career, she served as a Multimedia Journalist at Signs Media Kenya Limited, where she managed web content, enhanced the organisation’s digital footprint, and spearheaded newsroom digitisation initiatives.

Academically, Linda is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Diplomacy, Development, and International Security, building on her undergraduate training in International Relations and Security Studies at Daystar University, where she also minored in Public Relations.
