Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, but it was a long time ago! I love the clickiness of the keys.
How is social media changing news?
While I love how accessible social media makes the news, it also tends to make it easy for unverified news to go viral.
What's your favorite social network?
I love instagram. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Who do you wish followed you?
David Chang. He's really inspires me as he transformed from a chef and restauranteur into an international personality.
Why did you become a journalist?
I have so much passion around food and cooking, I want to share it with the world!
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm pretty proud of my article about what chef life really looks like. It was one of those articles that I poured my heart and soul into.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime, really. I'm always open to learn about new opportunities.
What's your favorite drink?
Beer: American pale ale; Cocktail: gin & tonic; Wine: Malbec; NA: homemade shrub soda.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Outside in the garden, dealing with the never-ending weeds that come with organic farming.

I love reading posts by the Kitchn, Tasting Table, Bon Appetit, and Food52. They're always making me think about new and exciting topics!
