Influence of mudstone on coal spontaneous combustion characteristics and oxidation kinetics analysis - Scientific Reports
Abstract To explore the spontaneous combustion characteristics and hazards of the low-temperature oxidation (LTO) stage in the process of spontaneous combustion of coal and mudstone, the pore structure, spontaneous combustion characteristic parameters, and exothermic characteristics of coal and mudstone were tested and studied, and the oxidation kinetic parameters were calculated. The results show that mudstone has a larger specific surface area and pore volume than coal.

The Fe2.5Ni2.5CrAl multiprincipal element alloy (MPEA) is a promising material for engineering applications because of its high strength and plasticity values. To evaluate the friction and wear performance, reciprocating dry sliding tests and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations are performed to determine the wear mechanism over a range of length scales. This alloy exhibits a lower average friction coefficient and wear volume loss during dry sliding compared with the well-known Fe2Ni2CrAl alloy.
Study on the characteristics of nitrogen dioxide adsorption and storage of coal residue in coal-fired power plants in goaf
Abstract In order to realize the storage of the residual coal in the goaf on the flue gas of the power plant, the adsorption characteristics of nitrogen dioxide in the flue gas of the power plant were studied. The Gaussian09 was used to study the adsorption process of NO2 molecules on coal at the density functional (DFT) B3LYP/6-311G level, and the model of NO2 adsorption by coal was established. Different quantities were obtained using orbital energy changes and molecular bond length changes.
