Advanced search Journal of Risk Research Latest Articles Submit an article Journal homepage Full Article Figures & data References Citations Metrics Reprints & Permissions Read this article /doi/full/10.1080/13669877.2026.2738121?needAccess=true Abstract Drawing on the Social Amplification of Risk Framework (SARF), this study examines who reports greater exposure to positive and negative news about autonomous vehicles and how such perceived exposure relates to adoption intentions.
Dynamic lactate clearance within the first 48 hours predicts pressure injury during ECMO support: a longitudinal cohort study
Abstract Backgrounds: This study aimed to investigate the association between dynamic lactate clearance and the development of pressure injuries in adult patients undergoing extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support and to evaluate its incremental value for early risk prediction. Mehods: This was a retrospective longitudinal cohort study. A total of 317 adult patients receiving ECMO support were enrolled.
Algorithmic identity performance: self-censorship and the politics of visibility on Chinese short-video platforms
Abstract Short-video creators on China’s Douyin face a visibility dilemma: algorithms distribute attention and mediate income opportunities, while moderation and reporting make acceptable expression uncertain. Existing scholarship has extensively examined censorship in China, but less is known about how creators translate layered constraints into routine production decisions and identity work.

Dynamics and ecological reassembly of the human gut microbiome and the host metabolome in response to prolonged fasting
Introduction Diet intervention is considered an effective method to improve lifespan and slow the progression of various diseases (Carter et al., 2018; Mardinoglu et al., 2018; Tang et al., 2023). Common forms of intervention include caloric restriction (Barquissau et al., 2018), carbohydrate restriction (Harvie et al., 2013), ketogenic diet (Abbasi, 2018), and fasting (Aon et al., 2020; Horne et al., 2020).
A post-synthetic modified Eu@Zn-MOFs for ratiometric fluorescent detection of tetracycline in tap water
A post-synthetic modified Eu@Zn-MOFs for ratiometric fluorescent detection of tetracycline in tap water In this study, a novel Eu3+ functionalized zinc metal-organic frameworks (Eu@Zn-MOFs) probe has been prepared by the post-synthetic modification method. Eu@Zn-MOFs exhibit a strong blue fluorescence emission band of Zn-MOFs and a weak characteristic emission of Eu3+ under 390 nm excitation, which were innovatively used to construct a ratiometric fluorescent probe for tetracycline detection.
Anti‐Inflammatory Effect of Clostridium Butyricum‐Derived Extracellular Vesicles in Ulcerative Colitis: Impact on Host microRNAs Expressions and Gut Microbiome Profiles
Abstract Score Probiotics extracellular vesicles (EVs) have shown potential as EV-based nanomaterials therapy for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Although probiotic Clostridium butyricum has been reported to be protective in various models of intestinal inflammation, the therapeutic effects of Clostridium butyricum-derived extracellular vesicles (CbEVs) in IBD remain to be demonstrated.
