Lisa Brooks PhD

Lisa Brooks PhD is an undeniably successful scholar. She is a Guggenheim Fellow, and recipient of many prestigious awards. Her book, Our Beloved Kin: A New History of King Philip’s War, won the prestigious Bancroft Prize for American History and Diplomacy. Despite her success, Lisa Brooks is concerned about the rapid pace of our current academic system and is committed to returning to the land and continuing to do research and write. She is a self-described introvert.
