Abstract Thermal evaporation of perovskite films holds considerable promise for the scalable manufacturing and pixel patterning of perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). However, the performance of evaporated PeLEDs remains inferior to their solution-processed counterparts due to the lack of effective strategies to regulate perovskite crystallization during vacuum deposition. Here we address this challenge and achieve precise control over crystallization pathways.

Rapid thermal annealing process for Se thin-film solar cells Liuchong Fu, Jiajia Zheng, Xuke Yang, Yuming He, Chao Chen, Kanghua Li and Jiang Tang Abstract Recently, selenium (Se) has regained interest as possible wide-bandgap photovoltaic material for silicon-based tandem applications. However, the easy sublimation of Se below the melting point (220 °C) brings challenges for high-quality Se thin films.
