Some worry about upsetting their parents or wonder if they'll be taken seriously.

10 Wonderful Words to Explain The Unexplainable
You will love these Do you ever struggle to find the perfect word to describe a feeling or situation? Sometimes, the words we know just don’t cut it. Yet, many beautiful words from different languages can help us communicate more effectively. I recently became immersed in the meanings and beauty of such words while looking for inspiration for a social media project. Now, let me be honest; I got sidetracked, so let me share 10 of my favourites with you. But hold on a moment.
I’ve discovered a powerful therapy.
I never thought I’d have such a strong connection to our gorgeous feline friends, but my cat-sitting exploits and my becoming a cat ‘Auntie’ seem to have created a cosy little space in my heart for these little furry creatures. Growing up I was an animal lover for sure, but if someone asked the question ‘cats or dogs?’ My answer would have been dogs. Now, my answer would be different for a variety of reasons, namely: • Cats are more independent by nature.
How I Found Space In a Time of Emotional Turmoil
How I Found Space In a Time of Emotional Turmoil At the end of 2022, I was chatting to an old friend of mine, who’d kindly invited me round for dinner. She is the kind of friend who will listen without judgement, offer help, and give you a good hearty meal and a glass of vino when needed. And, for want of going off-piste here, when I say a good meal, I mean a good meal. Whether that be a quick curry she’s rustled up or a gorgeous roast dinner followed by the tastiest dessert.
I took up photography because I couldn’t get a dog.
I took up photography because I couldn’t get a dog. There was a time when I struggled to get out of the house and out on my own to go for a walk. Did I live in a ‘dodgy’ area? No. I lived in a lovely little 1920s one-bed terrace house in a good area, locally described as ‘cosmopolitan’ with lots of little independent shops and cafes. Looking back, I recognise now I had signs of anxiety, but sometimes in the thick of things you don’t realise what’s bubbling away under the surface.
Mother of man with severe learning difficulties ‘overjoyed’ after treatment win
The mother of a 29-year-old man with severe learning disabilities and “end-stage” kidney disease is “absolutely overjoyed” after winning a “life-sustaining” treatment fight in a specialist court. Doctors told a judge that autistic Jordan Tooke would need to be sedated in order to be given dialysis three times a week – and argued such moves were not in his best interests.

Are Empaths Real Or a Myth?
“Excuse me?!” I could feel my indignation rising. I was reading an online article that questioned me, my feelings, the intensity of those feelings, and the essence of me. I felt targeted, maybe triggered — triggered because it’s not been an easy ride to own the empath in me. But it does seem that scientists and psychologists are divided on whether empaths exist.
Try This if You Struggle With Big Picture Thinking..
The question that sends me into an absolute head spin: "Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?" I could feel myself begin to panic and my body begin to freeze. I knew the question was coming. It was a standard interview question. And one that I began to dread.
