Have you ever used a typewriter?
I have. We had an ancient Underwood when I was a toddler, so I learned to type very early.
What's your favorite social network?
It used to be Twitter.
Why did you become a journalist?
My aunt showed me "All The President's Men", and I was hooked.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not. I grew up in NYC, and was too busy going out at night.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The Ides of March story for JSTOR Daily is the most recent one I'm proud of, as well as the feedback.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Time of day? Between 11 and 7.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Reading/researching in a library or coffee purveyor.
