I wrote a restaurant review with Jennifer Biggs (Senior Food Reporter with The Commercial Appeal) .

Only a few times for fun. I am 13.
How is social media changing news?
It is super quick, and you never know who is reading or seeing what you do.

Why did you become a journalist?
I wanted to share my passion of food with other foodies.

Not in high school yet. I am an homeschooled 8th grader.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I most proud of attending as a special guest blogger at the National Food Journalist Conference in 2014.
When's the best time to pitch you?
In the afternoon, after a good meal.

Dad told me to start a blog 5 years ago after he heard me talking a restaurant meal.
What's your favorite drink?
Sweet Tea (southern style). Coffee, second.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Reading and doing school work.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
The biggest misperception is that blogging is easy. It is not. It takes passion and time.
