As the race to secure the 2020-2021 Preseason SEC Player of the Year has been heating up, it seems that the Wildcats have become the favorite. Venables Has Growing Pains Ahead In Year One
The hype around first-year head coach Brent Venables is real. I don’t doubt that he will be successful at OU, but he has never been a head coach and it could take a couple of years for him to fine-tune things. If you disagree with me, do you remember Lincoln Riley‘s first year when he decided to squib kick before the half at the Rose Bowl, costing them three points, and ultimately losing by three? Don’t get me wrong, I think Venables was a great hire for Oklahoma.

Paul Finebaum Calls for Notre Dame to Join SEC
If you were to look up the word homer, you would most likely find the definition to include Paul Finebaum. To no surprise, Finebaum is now calling for Notre Dame to join the SEC. After moves from Oklahoma, Texas, and most recently UCLA and USC, conference realignment has been a hot topic.

The Big 12’s hiring of Brett Yormark has had some questioning the move, but with the changing of the landscape of college athletics it was time for an unorthodox hire. Casey Thompson is 'at Peace' Following Transfer to Nebraska
As Nebraska continues to unravel their quarterback position, expectations are that Texas transfer Casey Thompson will be the guy going into the start of the season.
