Where do I start? I have a bachelor's in Mass Communications/Broadcasting with a minor in Spanish. I've applied to news and television stations: they ghosted me with no answer. I've applied to become an ESL teacher and the school chose someone else. I stayed over two years without a job just gig work here and there. I think the HW shows that are all (or mostly) black are held to a higher standard than the white ones. I admit I've only watched the season of RHONY with Eboni but I watched all the reunions and don't see what all the hoopla is about. All these women have to do is drink, fµck, and yell at each other and LSA is pleased. Meanwhile when the RHOA or RHOP ladies do the same thing they're called boring. Take scary island. The only memorable thing is the "go to sleep" line.

Why are Fantasia's finances so poor and why has career been so rocky?
Fantasia is a working entertainer -- she's not mainstream by any stretch of the imagination; she also doesn't write, compose or produce music and so I imagine her albums cost more to make than she generates in sales. Beyond that, she doesn't have a large enough audience/market to pull in large revenue from music sales, nor touring as she's likely limited to small venues.

Gen Alpha will be. The rest of us too...if the 30s and beyond are going to be as bad as the current trajectory suggests (more wars, race riots, economic and environmental collapse, water wars, so on and so forth...). Sometimes it's good to get your nerves out on a job you know you're not taking. When I jumped back into the job market, I interviewed with this all-white/all-male/all-flannel company. In their defense, maybe it was Flannel Tuesday. Either way, soon as the interview started, I just said whatever I felt, and walked away feeling free as a bird. I had no interest in whether I was accepted or not. I was in there to break the ice, nothing more. The rest of my interviews went awesome.

YES I'VE BEEN CATFISHED!!! Now y'all... I'm a Gen X'er in my early 40s. I was on a dating app in 2004 and matched with a man who was so beautiful. Long story short, it turned out that I was being catfished by my hairstylist's repairman! Chile... it was wild. I would see him all the time in the salon and outside of your basic hi and bye, I didn't pay him much mind. Homeboy was also up to my shoulder with bad razor bumps.
