I have vague memories of a turquoise typewriter which may be somewhere in my attic.

Everyone can share news in real time, making the news cycle 24/7.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Carrie Bradshaw- I covet her wardrobe.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
#BlueandBlack vs. #WhiteandGold. The fact that it was NEWS is what made it funny.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Drive keeps my files organized. My iPhone is always within reach. And I always have a journal and a pen.
What's your favorite social network?
Facebook because it's where I keep up with friends from my childhood and relatives living far away.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did a bit of writing for my school paper but was more active in theatre.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Every story I work on is my 'most important' at the time.
What's your favorite drink?
Coffee. I run on solar power and caffeine!
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Traveling or reading.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
The Sunday New York Times.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
Not all PR people lead glamorous lives! Most of us work behind the scenes helping organizations tell their stories.
