For Sale BT Complete Wi-Fi discs x 2 / Archer VR900 x 2
Recently upgraded our broadband equipment so we now have a few spare items sitting on the shelf doing nothing. Initially selling as a bundle. And a bit of a long shot but these are currently for collection only. 2 x BT Complete Wi-Fi discs for use with BT Home Hub 2 (secondhand, CeX) 2 x Archer VR900 v2.0 routers (secondhand, eBay) All items come with power supplies and were fully functional when last used a couple of weeks ago.
WRC Italia Sardegna (spoiler!)
Five-time runner-up Elfyn Evans is world champion for the first time after rival Oliver Solberg crashes in the final moments of Rally Italia Sardegna. www.bbc.co.uk
For Sale CeX £56.00 Voucher @ 85%
Selling a single CeX voucher with a face value of £56.00 for £47.60. Priced at 85% which is firm as it's in line with the "typical rate" on here and we're in no rush to sell. Preference will be given to a buyer with an established trading record on here. We request that the buyer validates the voucher as soon as possible (ideally upon receipt) so that both parties can be satisfied with the sale. Voucher details (in text form) will be sent via PM upon receipt of payment.
Question Idiotic question about swapping router/switches around...
Apologies upfront but I'm not great at home networking and have an ignorant question to ask. I'm starting to tear my hair out here a little bit trying to swap out an existing router (that's being used as a switch), for a new switch that doesn't appear to want to play properly. Our current set up is an Openreach ONT > BT Smart Hub 2 > long Cat 5e Ethernet cable > Archer VR900 which then feeds an Apple TV 4K box and a PS5 via Ethernet cable each.
For Sale £173.90 CeX @ 85%
Selling a single CeX voucher with a face value of £173.90. Payment is by bank transfer only.
For Sale £62 CeX (£35 + £27) @ 85%
Selling £62 worth of CeX credit in two vouchers (£35.00 + £27.00) for £52.70. Would like to sell both as a bundle to minimise faffage. Priced at 85% which is firm as it's in line with the "typical rate" on here and we're in no rush to sell. Preference will be given to a buyer with an established trading record on here. We request that the buyer validates the vouchers as soon as possible (ideally upon receipt) so that both parties can be satisfied with the sale.
For Sale Ring Doorbell (2nd Generation, Venetian Bronze) + Chime (2nd Generation, White)
As per title. Owned by ourselves from new and purchased almost 3 years ago (so no remaining warranty that we're aware of). Only selling it because we've got more devices from another manufacturer so are consolidating our setup. Functionally all works as expected. However the usual caveat of it taking an eternity to charge the battery applies - it's a known "feature" of the doorbell (look it up!). Once charged we seem to easily get 3-4 months out of it.
For Sale CeX £161.90
£161.90 voucher for £137.61 Priced at 85% which is firm as it's in line with the "typical rate" on here and we're in no rush to sell. Preference will be given to a buyer with an established trading record on here. We request that the buyer validates the voucher as soon as possible (ideally upon receipt) so that both parties can be satisfied with the sale. Voucher details (in text form) will be sent via PM upon receipt of payment. Payment is by bank transfer only.
For Sale CeX vouchers (£125.20, £203.10, £390.00)
£125.20 voucher for £106.42 £203.10 voucher for £172.64 £390.00 voucher for £331.50 So that's £610.56 for all of vouchers (total face value of £718.30).
For Sale £322 CeX Voucher
Priced at £273.70 (i.e. 85%) which is firm as it's in line with the "typical rate" on here and we're in no rush to sell.
For Sale £519.05 CeX (£39.05, £72.00, £85.00, £146.90, £176.10)
All vouchers are priced at 85% of their face value and rounded up to the nearest penny. These prices are fixed as they're in line with the "typical rate" on here and we're in no rush to sell. £39.05 = £33.20 £72.00 = £61.20 £85.00 = £72.25 £146.90 = £124.87 £176.10 = £149.69 So £441.21 for all of the vouchers (total face value £519.05). Preference will be given to sales of multiple vouchers and we will only sell to buyers with an established trading record on here.

For Sale 2TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD (MZ-V9P2T0, with heatsink)
You are not yet elligible to post in the voucher code classifieds forum. See here for more information. Thank you. LotusElan Distinguished Member #1 It's currently installed in a PS5 at the moment hence no photos! We're only selling it as we've finally had an upgrade to full fibre broadband so there's less need to cache large games on the console. It will of course be formatted before sale. Collection only at the moment.
For Exchange - Stellar Blade
UK copy, very good condition, owned by myself from new. Ideally I'd like to swap this for a copy of Clair Obscur : Expedition 33, or maybe Oblivion. Any item offered in trade must be a UK copy, complete (disc, inlay, box, any additional content (e.g. map)) and in very good condition. Item is priced purely in accordance with the forums' trading guidelines. I am not interested in selling at the moment.
For Sale - Limited Editions Bundle - Crystal Plummage, Deep Red, Ladykillers, Martin
All are in good/very good condition (I think they're the latter but realise it's subjective!). I bought Martin from on here but the others have been owned by myself from new. They are all complete and include the additional LE tat that they came with (e.g. posters, books, art cards). However please ask questions to make sure everything is in the boxes! At the moment I'd like to sell them as a bundle so they are not individually priced.
Question - BT Complete Wi-Fi Disc
Does adding a disc mean we'll have a mesh network? The information on BT's website doesn't explicitly use the word "mesh" but instead the phrase "wall-to-wall coverage around your home" which I'm not 100% sure means the same thing? Apologies, but this is going to be an ignorant set of questions! Is it as simple as downloading the app, plugging it in and away we go? Do you need to pay extra for the "new functionality"?

Control Ultimate Edition
LotusElan Distinguished Member #1 Okay I'll own up - I've mainly created this thread mainly to ask a question... Does anybody know when the PS5 upgrade is scheduled for? I know there was a bit of backlash about how they were releasing it (i.e. not for free for existing owners) but as I've not played this at all I may well be interested in buying it at some point.
007 First Light (James Bond Hitman game) (TBC 2026)
Stinja Distinguished Member #1 Speaking of stealth games... Project 007 is the working title for a James Bond licenced game, from the Hitman series of games. Info to date: Project 007: Everything we know about IO Interactive's new Bond game But i could imagine a game much like Hitman mechanically, as all the systems are ripe for a spy game, and even going more actiony isn't too bad (Colorado level, ugh when trying to SASO), then throw in some car/driving stuff, and job done.

Echo Show 5/Ring Video Doorbell issue
Not sure if this is quite the right place for this question but my brain is a bit frazzled and it seemed like a reasonable place to start. I'll ask for the thread to be moved if it's better off elsewhere. We have an Echo Show 5 and a Ring video doorbell (2nd generation). We get notifications of a doorbell press on our mobiles but not on the Echo Show. I was expecting something to pop up on the Show's screen but nope. I (think I) have set up the Alexa skill and added our Ring devices correctly.

Wanted - Horizon Forbidden West
Must be a UK copy, complete (disc, box, inlay, etc.) and in very good condition. If you have low trader feedback I'll ask you to send first with payment upon receipt. Thanks for looking!
Wanted - Logitech Harmony remote
Our current Harmony remote is going to need replacing at some point soon so we're after a replacement. It will preferably be one that can be used with the MyHarmony application. Guess that'll be one of the several remote it lists when asking to add a new one then (see below)! I'm not entirely sure about the entire model range but our current remote controls an AV amp, TV, BD player, Roku and Apple TV so I suspect that means we need something that can talk to IR/RF/BT devices?
The Night Agent (Netflix) TV Show Review & Comments
#2 Sorry, but I thought this was pretty dire. It seemed to have been written by some Netflix computer algorithm. Lots of dreadful Basil Exposition dialogue along with a bland cardboard cut-out lead. #3 Gave up on 1st episode. Nothing new added to the genre.
For Sale - Citizen AT4000-02E (price drop @ 02/03/25)
LotusElan Distinguished Member #1 Please read the description carefully! Watch features: Eco Drive (solar powered) Radio Controlled Perpetual Calendar Sapphire Glass Chronograph Tachymeter Alarm (although I never used this function as it was too quiet for my liking!) I can't find the watch on Citizen's website any more (as it has now been discontinued) so here's a random link to show some more detailed specifications: AT4000-02E: Citizen eco-drive, radio rontrolled, sports chronograph watch.
Wanted - Hitchcock Vol. 2 & 3 / NBNW / Nightmare Before Christmas / Rocky 1-6 / Thelma & Louise / To Catch A Thief
LotusElan Distinguished Member #1 Preferably UK releases - might consider other versions as long as there's an English soundtrack and the BDs are playable on a Region B device... Not really interested in special/collector/tat editions unless they're exceptionally cheap; standard/vanilla releases are just fine. Any item must be complete (disc/box/inlay/artwork/etc.) and in very good condition. If you have a low trader feedback rating I'll ask you to post first with payment upon receipt.

Does anybody know if/when ITV4 will be broadcasting their Central European WRC programme? We usually record their highlights show but for some reason I just can't see anything in our PVR's scheduler at the moment. Could be me not spotting it though...

Palm Springs (Amazon) Movie Review & Comments
#2 Thanks for the review Tom. That's more than enough for me to get onboard, not that I needed convincing. Been a long time coming, and I do love that this now appears to have become a genre of it's own. #3 Sounds good; thanks for the review! Perhaps one day there will be a "meta" timeloop film about moviemakers stuck in an uninspired rut, constantly remaking films based upon the same old hackneyed premise. All they have to do is come up with an original idea to break out of the cycle...
