Why did you become a journalist?
I wanted to tell stories that would positively impact people's lives. Speak up for the unheard.

No, I did not.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a story on a rescue home for sexually abused children in Malindi Kenya. I hope the story helped make their lives better.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Read, read, read, especially in this digital era that allows you to get news from many outlets. Keep writing and pitching stories, it pays.
