Review: Witchblood #6
Created by: Matthew Erman & Lisa Sterle Coloured by: Gab Contreras Lettered by: Andworld Design Witchblood #6 brings together a few threads and answers a couple of questions whilst posing several more. We finally get a partial Yonna origin story. She speaks what appears to be Gaelic in one panel – I’m sure they’ll give us more info further down the line because there are QUESTIONS.
Review: Witchblood #5
Created by: Matthew Erman & Lisa Sterle Coloured by: Gab Contreras Lettered by: Andworld Design Something weird is happening in Sargasso, and it’s not the fault of another new witch, Arteria, and her otter friend. So of course our Yonna and her hex hunter companions are about to make an unscheduled pit stop there. This little desert town is suspiciously moist but seemingly lacking in fuel. Arteria emerges half-drowned from a big hole, and Yonna inevitably makes friends with an otter.
Round-Up Review: Witchblood #1 - #4
Created by: Matthew Erman & Lisa Sterle Coloured by: Gab Contreras Lettered by: Jim Campbell & Andworld Design Yonna D’Arc is a witch. She might be immortal. She definitely has Hatsune Miku hair. Unfortunately for Yonna, there’s a group of vampire bikers out for some of that delicious titular witch blood, which is apparently the source of all magic. I’m not sure how your local Wiccans will feel about that.

Written by: Dan Watters Art by: Caspar Wijngaard Lettered by: Aditya Bidikar Designed by: Tom Muller Publisher: Image Fellow BTC person Zach said to me, “it’s got haunted houses, mech suits and punk kids”, and I figured it was worth a look. Home Sick Pilots takes its name from the name of the band the protagonist is in, although I suspect it will take on a couple more layers of meaning before the story is done.
Make That a Double: A Short Story by cam
One of the bits of information passed on to Spider by his unknown employer was that the man in the recliner had a house keeper who would show up at random times. Spider believed the late hour would insure he and the balding man would be alone. That’s when the front door opened and a woman’s voice called down the hallway. “Hello, darling, how are you tonight?” “I’m fine, my love,” said Darling who was now on his feet.
