Luke Fortney’s Biography
My name is Lucas Fortney and I am a recent graduate of Oberlin College with degrees in English and Communications. Over the past two years, I have reported for several campus and community publications, including two daily newspapers and one long-form news magazine. In the spring, my passion for fast-paced, multimedia storytelling led me to NPR in Cleveland, where I covered local and regional politics as a news production intern. As a recent graduate, I have represented Oberlin College's student journalists at the State of American Democracy Conference and the 2018 Nation Student Journalism Conference.
