What was your first job as a journalist?
I have been running A Luxury Travel Blog - my only journalistic endeavour - since 2005.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. That's how I originally learnt to type.
How is social media changing news?
In many ways, but particularly with its immediacy and misinformation.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Too many very bad ones to remember, but any that start with a generic, insincere "I love your site" are usually a major turn-off.
What's your favorite drink?
Strongbow
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Travelling somewhere. I'm just back from Kazakhstan which was amazing.
