Deterministic and programmable fusion for the scalable generation of photonic graph states
Abstract Entanglement in multiphoton graph states is an important resource for applications such as measurement-based quantum computing and memoryless quantum repeaters. However, most experimental demonstrations have only successfully prepared small-scale instances. A method known as fusion provides a divide-and-conquer approach that can link smaller resource states into larger, more complex graphs.
Principles of optics in Fock space for the scalable manipulation of large quantum states
Abstract The principles of wave optics provide elegant and scalable control over classical light in spatial and temporal domains. However, in the quantum regime, engineering Fock states of photons has been largely restricted to only a few photons at a time, hindered by the computational and experimental challenges of large Hilbert spaces.
Compact and high-resolution spectrometer via Brillouin integrated circuits - Nature Communications
Abstract Optical spectrometers are indispensable tools across various fields, from chemical and biological sensing to astronomical observations and quantum technologies. However, the integration of spectrometers onto photonic chips has been hindered by the low spectral resolution or large device footprint with complex multiple channel operations. Here, we introduce a chip-integrated spectrometer by leveraging the acoustically-stimulated Brillouin scattering in a hybrid photonic-phononic chip.
Gigahertz topological phononic circuits based on micrometre-scale unsuspended waveguide arrays - Nature Electronics
Abstract The manipulation of gigahertz-frequency acoustic waves is of use in both classical and quantum applications. Topological phononics can provide robust acoustic control, but practical implementations are typically limited to low frequencies or lack scalability. Here we report reconfigurable topological phononic circuits that operate at 1.5 GHz. The approach is based on micrometre-scale unsuspended waveguides that tightly confine the acoustic waves.

An ultra-high gain single-photon transistor in the microwave regime - Nature Communications
Abstract A photonic transistor that can switch or amplify an optical signal with a single gate photon requires strong non-linear interaction at the single-photon level. Circuit quantum electrodynamics provides great flexibility to generate such an interaction, and thus could serve as an effective platform to realize a high-performance single-photon transistor. Here we demonstrate such a photonic transistor in the microwave regime.
