Tammy Joyner’s Biography

I'm a 35-year journalist (40 if you count the time I spent working at my hometown paper after school in the afternoons) who has never not asked questions. Getting paid for it has been the icing on the cake. I've worked at The Oak Ridger in Tennessee, The Cleveland Plain-Dealer, The Charlotte Observer, The Detroit News and for the last 22 years - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper. I've spent most of my career as a business journalist. The last six years however have been spent rooting out malfeasance on the local level and it has been grand.
