I'm a freelance writer and editor, with a background in politics and foreign affairs. I'm currently an independent contractor for BBC Monitoring, working as an analyst, editor and reporter on African news, and a contributor for BBC Africa and Zitamar News covering political, economic and social developments in Portuguese-speaking African countries.

I'm also a writer of B2B SaaS blogs, covering marketing, pricing, sales and workplace culture. Alongside this, I pen regular op-eds for Portuguese newspaper Publico on politics and culture.

I'm regularly commissioned by consultancies and organizations working in the international development sector to write, copyedit and proofread bids, reports and marketing content.
