When reading on the Google Play Books app, there can be a lot of names or locations to remember. What would be perfect is a way of editing the dictionary to allow custom entries in which I can enter information about these things. Although that is the ideal solution, I'm happy for similar things: other apps which give me blank or custom dictionaries that will work with google play books, for example.
It was Grawp, Hagrid's half-brother. He couldn't pronounce Hermione: Hermy was the best he could do, best seen when Umbridge, Harry and Hermione are in the Forbidden Forest togther: Hermy! Where Hagger? He couldn't manage Hagrid, either (he went with Hagger). EDIT: Krum also had trouble with her name, and pronounced it "Herm-own-ninny", though Grawp is most likely who you're thinking of (Krum only said it wrong once, and it wasn't a nickname).
Based on what we've seen in the books, no, Avada Kedavra is not the only way to kill a wizard (or for that matter a witch or muggle). There are spells that directly cause death: Sectumsempra, for instance. There are also spells that can be used to cause death, though that is not the primary use: Incendio, Wingardium Leviosa (lift a guy and drop him). There are charms that can influence the surroundings to cause death: lifting a boulder and dropping it on somebody's head will do some damage.
