I'm Steven T. Wright, a writer and reporter with five years of experience and over a dozen bylines at major outlets under my belt.

Though I cover anything I find interesting - up to and including memes, politics, and the peculiar miasma of late internet culture - over time, I've developed a distinct emphasis on video games as expressive, vital art, and the creative minds who make that possible. In particular, I specialize in longform pieces that explore underexamined aspects of video game culture or production, or delve into offbeat takes on well-known industry issues, such as the questionable labor practices of monolithic studios, or the ever-tightening market for independent games.
