I cover all aspects of Dennis and Yarmouth for The Cape Cod Times in Hyannis, Massachusetts. My beat covers local government, social issues, crime, breaking news and educations. I formerly worked as the police reporter for The Cape Cod Times, covering crime, cops and breaking news around Cape Cod. Previously, I was The Cape Cod Times’ Dow Jones News Fund business reporting intern and covered local business and economic issues. I've also worked part time at Lower Cape Community Access Television in Eastham, Massachusetts, shooting and editing video in Final Cut Pro X and assisting with lighting, camera work and other aspects of studio production.
I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Spanish in May 2015. I worked as a staff writer at my university’s independent student newspaper, The Diamondback, for over two years. During my junior year, I lived and studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for about six months. I am fluent in Spanish and have a strong interest in international reporting, social issues reporting and investigative journalism.
