WSU Global Campus student ambassador shines during #CougsGive Day

#CougsGive Day, Washington State University’s annual day of giving held April 15, raised more than $1 million to support the WSU community in 2026. Among the many who contributed to that success, one WSU Global Campus student stood out. Aunjelique Andersen, a fully online student pursuing her degree in Media Innovation, ranked first on the #CougsGive Ambassador Leaderboard, inspiring 54 gifts through her outreach. “This was not an individual accomplishment,” said Andersen.

WSU SURCA undergraduate researchers earn 65 awards

April 29, 2026 By Madison Binek, Office of the Provost Seventy-three students at the Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA) 2026 were the recipients of 65 awards totaling $14,000. The system-wide event on March 23 at WSU Pullman was hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR). “We enjoyed 251 outstanding posters this year from undergraduates who study and research at all six WSU campuses.
